LIVINGSTON, Ala - The University of West Alabama men's and women's tennis team are excited to open the fall schedule with one big event over the weekend. 

"We are excited for our first fall competition this upcoming weekend at a high level event," head tennis coach Jeff Beaman said.

The Thomasville Collegiate Invitational event will be Friday through Sunday and will feature Division I competition such as Florida State and South Alabama. The event will also have Gulf South Conference opponents Valdosta State, West Florida, and Auburn-Montgomery.

The Thomasville Collegiate Invitational will be hosted at the Glen Arven Country Club in Thomasville, Ga. This is a very unique tournament because it will be played on clay courts. 

The Columbus State event will be rescheduled to a later date due to rain in the area.
