Heather McLaughlin Named Jack's Player of the Week

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Heather McLaughlin, a member of the UWA women's rodeo team, has been named Jack's Player of the Week based on her performance at the UT Martin Spring College Rodeo on April 7th – 9th
 
McLaughlin finished in first place in goat tying and placed second in breakaway roping in Martin, Tenn. 
 
McLaughlin, a native of Bunnell, Fla., is currently in first place in the Ozark Region women's all-around category with 1,337 total points which is good for fifth in the nation. 
 
The junior is currently leading the nation in goat tying with 1,110 points and is in eighth place in the Ozark Region in breakaway roping. 
 
As a team, the UWA women are currently in first place in the Ozark Region team standings and 10th nationally. 
 
McLaughlin and the rest of the UWA rodeo team will next compete at the Arkansas-Monticello Rodeo on April 21st-23rd at Monticello, Ark.
