Five Tigers to Compete in 2022 Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships

ALLENDALE, Mich. – West Alabama track and field will be sending Kaitlin Hill, Annaya Chelcy, Myflore Methelus, Kaylen Johnson, and Kyla Johnson to the 2022 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships at the Grand Valley State Track and Field Stadium.

The championships will start on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and wrap up on Saturday at 5 p.m. The championships will offer a live stream and live results.

Kyla Johnson, Kaylen Johnson, Methelus, and Chelcy will compete in the women's 4x100-meter relay preliminaries at 4 p.m. The finals will take place on Saturday at 1:10 p.m.

Hill will begin her Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the women's long jump finals. Hill had a fourth-place finish in long jump at the 2021 championships.

Hill will have a quick turnaround and run the women's 100-meter dash prelims at 5:25 p.m. on Thursday. The women's 100-meter dash final will take place on Saturday at 2:35 p.m.

The Tigers will be joined by Lee and Alabama-Huntsville from the Gulf South Conference.
