Tigers 4x100-Meter Relay Team Advances to Finals on Saturday

ALLENDALE, Mich. – West Alabama track and field began competition at the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor National Championships on Thursday afternoon at the Grand Valley State Track and Field Stadium. 
 
The Tigers 4x100-meter relay team of Kaylen Johnson, Myflore Methelus, Annaya Chelcy, and Kyla Johnson crossed the line in with a time of 46.10. With the time the team advances to the finals on Saturday at 1:10 p.m. 
 
Kaitlin Hill competed in the long jump finals and the 100-meter dash prelim. Hill had a jump of 5.38-meters. In the 100-meters, the junior crossed the line with a time of 12.28 seconds. 
 
Marie-Jeanne Ourega from Academy of Art took first place in the long jump with a result of 6.37-meters. 
 
The 4x100-meter finals will be live streamed along with live results.
