Thomas Watson Signs with West Alabama Baseball

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – West Alabama head baseball coach Gary Rundles has announced the signing of Thomas Watson who is a 2022 graduate of Vestavia Hills High School.  
 
"Thomas is a promising young ball player that will be able to help us behind the dish or in the outfield. He comes from a very good high school program where he played against top level competition," Rundles said. "We are excited to watch his development,"
 
During his senior season, Watson had 102 at-bats with 32 hits including four doubles, four triples, and one home run. Watson finished the season with a batting average of .314 and scored 20 runs. He drove in 21 runs and stole 20 bases.
 
Watson helped lead Vestavia Hills to the 2022 AHSAA 7A Baseball Semifinals.
