Michael Alan Cole Signs with UWA Baseball

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Michael Alan Cole has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to join the 2023 West Alabama baseball roster, according to an announcement made by head baseball coach Gary Rundles.
 
"Michael Alan is a big strong corner infielder that has tremendous power potential. His work ethic, strong character, and familiarity to our program makes him a perfect fit," Rundles said. "We are excited to have him join our team," 
 
The Sweet Water, Alabama native hit two home runs, 16 doubles, and batted in 36 runs during his senior season. He finished the season with a batting average of .458. 
 
He was named to the 2022 ASWA All-State 1A Baseball Second Team and graduated from Sweet Water High School in 2022. 
 
Cole's father Mike Cole, played football for the Tigers during the 1991 and 1992 season. His mother Tammy Dial Cole played softball for UWA in 1992 and 1993.
