LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama rodeo team prepares for the UWA Rodeo Showdown this weekend, starting on Thursday night from the Hines-Spree Rodeo Complex.
Shows start each night at 7 p.m. with a pre-show scheduled for 6 p.m.
"It's our one chance of the year to compete in our home arena with our home crowd cheering us on. We cherish these few days each year. There's try and then there's college try. It's exciting watching all these fearless college rodeo athletes lay it all on the line," said head coach Daniel Poole.
Tickets are available for each night for $10, or an All-Weekend pass is available for $28. Proceeds from all ticket sales will go back to the UWA Rodeo program.
The weekend's festivities will also be live streamed. More information will be posted later this week, but fans can bookmark
