RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - The University of West Alabama Rodeo team concluded Arkansas Tech's home Rodeo on Saturday night.
West Alabama Men's team placed seventh with 110 points while the Women's team didn't register a score.
Stewart Gallups, Tyler Lovering, Austin Brooks, Tanner Brown, and Clarke Gordon all advanced to the Championship round for the Tigers' Men's squad.
Brooks was featured in the Team Roping and Steer Wrestling, accumulating 130 points across the two events. The duo of Brown and Gordon recorded 55 points in the Team Roping event while Gallups and Lovering combined for 30 points in the Tie Down Roping.
On the Women's side, Ivy Bone, Andi Norwood, Sydney Poole, Millie Joe Rosenberg, and Katelyn Carney competed in the Championship Round on Saturday night.
Bone led the team with 90 points in the Breakaway Roping while Norwood followed behind with 55 points in the event. Rosenberg and Carney both registered 10 points in the Barrel Racing while Poole didn't register a score in the Breakaway Roping.
West Alabama will look to bounce back in their final regular season Rodeo next weekend at Northwest Mississippi CC.
