LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Men's and Women's Rodeo teams moved up in this week's NIRA Standings as the Men are now ranked seventh while the Women enter the rankings at No. 11.
Men's Rodeo leaps up 12 spots to No.7 after accumulating 635 points at the Arkansas Monticello Rodeo this past weekend, finishing in second place.Â
For the Women, they go from unranked to 11th in the country after winning back-to-back Rodeos, with their latest win coming this past weekend in Monticello, Arkansas. Led by
Meah Pinter and
Sydney Poole, West Alabama took home first place in a landslide, registering 500 points which stands as 310 more points than the team that finished in second.
Alongside their rankings in the National Standings, the Men's and Women's team is also ranked first in the Ozark Region.
Both the Men's and Women's squad continue their dominant 2024-25 campaign this weekend when they travel to Magnolia, Arkansas for Southern Arkansas' Home Rodeo.
