Jaida Alvin leads the Tigers' attack with 2.12 kills per set, while
Taylor Lamontagne's 5.33 assists per set facilitates their offense. Defensively,
Maggie Roddam leads with 2.95 digs per set, while Mertcan has made a big impact as a senior with her consistent setting and serving. Improving their hitting percentage and limiting errors will be essential for the Tigers to stay competitive.
On Saturday, the Tigers will face the undefeated conference leader, West Florida (21-5, 16-0), whose well-rounded play and league-best .266 hitting percentage makes them a challenging opponent. With the support of the home crowd on Senior Day, the Tigers are looking to put in a strong showing and celebrate Mertcan's career at West Alabama in their final home stand.
