LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Volleyball team was announced as the recipients of the AVCA Team Academic and Honor Roll Award by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Thursday.
To earn the AVCA Team Academic Award, a program must maintain a year long GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. In order to collect the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll award, a program must be in the top 20 percent for their division.
West Alabama secured both awards by turning in one of the highest GPAs of any team in the country. The Tigers accumulated a team GPA of 3.82, with seven student-athletes maintaining a 4.00 GPA throughout the entire 2025-26 academic year.
