LIVINGSTON, Ala. — West Alabama's standout guard Kendall LaCoste has been named to the 2025–26 Preseason All-Gulf South Conference Team, marking the first preseason All-GSC selection of her career.

Lacoste played a pivotal role for the Tigers during the 2024–25 season, emerging as one of the team's most consistent offensive threats. She averaged 14.9 points per game, showcasing her ability to score efficiently from all areas of the court. One of her most memorable performances came against Auburn Montgomery, where she posted a career-high 33 points, shooting 12-of-21 from the field, 5-of-10 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

Her impact extended across the conference, ranking fifth overall in scoring, eighth in three-point percentage, and second in free-throw percentage, shooting an impressive .833 from the charity stripe.

With her first preseason honor, LaCoste looks to build upon last season's success and continue leading the Tigers as a key offensive force heading into the 2025–26 season.
