LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The leader of the University of West Alabama Tennis Program, Jeff Beaman, secured another GSC Coach of the Year honor on Wednesday.
Beaman has now won the GSC Coach of the Year Award in six consecutive years, putting him in rarified air within the conference and nation.
In 2025, Beaman led the UWA Women's Tennis team to their sixth consecutive GSC Regular Season Championship as he's created a real dynasty in Livingston. Over the course of the past six years, Beaman has accrued 67 consecutive GSC wins without a loss.
Under Beaman this year, West Alabama saw three of their players, Shaira Rivera, Alexa Milliam, and Valentina Mutilba, make the All-GSC Team with Rivera and Milliam securing First Team honors. Along with those accolades, Milliam was also named the GSC Freshman of the Year to cap off another flawless regular season for UWA.
Beaman and the Tigers will kick off the GSC Quarterfinals on Thursday at Lagoon Park with a matchup against Delta State set for 10:00 a.m.
