LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Football's Elijah Guyton added another award to his collection on Tuesday as he was named to the CSC Academic All-America Team.
Members of the CSC Academic All-America Team showcase a combination of elite performance on the field, coupled with high academic achievements. To be eligible for this distinction, a student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher while winning at least one National Yearly award during the Athletic season (Player of the Year, All-Region, All-American, etc.)
Guyton was deemed eligible for All-America status after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree and a 3.88 GPA as a Business Management major.Â
On the field, the Place Kicker only missed one Field Goal the entire season, with that miss being a blocked attempt. Guyton buried 11 Field Goals in 2025, with a season-long 51-yarder coming against Northeastern State in the season finale.Â
The Redshirt Junior now adds this award to a long list of accolades in 2025 that includes:Â
- D2Football.com Second Team All-American
- DII AP Second Team All-American
- Don Hansen Honorable Mention All-American
- D2CCA Second Team All-American
- First Team All-GSC
