Baseball Adjusts Weekend Schedule Against Choctaws

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Due to expected inclement weather on Saturday, West Alabama baseball has announced a schedule change for its upcoming Gulf South Conference-opening series against Mississippi College at Tartt Field.

The Tigers and Choctaws will now play a doubleheader on Friday, February 13, beginning at 2 p.m. Game two will start approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of the opening contest.

The series will conclude with a single game on Saturday, February 14, with first pitch set for 1 p.m.

This weekend's matchup marks the GSC opener for both programs and provides an early-season home test for West Alabama as the Tigers look to build momentum in conference play. With the young season underway, UWA will aim to defend its home field and set the tone in league competition against a familiar conference opponent.

Fans are encouraged to stay tuned to uwaathletics.com and UWA Athletics social media platforms for any additional updates regarding the weekend schedule.
