LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Men's Basketball team is ranked No. 18 in this week's edition of the NABC Coaches Poll.
West Alabama (18-3, 13-2 GSC) comes in at No. 18, after going 1-1 last week with a thrilling double overtime win coming against Trevecca Nazarene and a loss to the Lee Flames.
UWA remains the only GSC school featured in the top-25.
Nationally, the Tigers are still ranked within the top-10 in rebounding margin, three-point percentage, and turnovers per game.
Individually, Christian Thompson remains one of the top rebounders in the country, grabbing 10.4 boards per game which puts him ninth in the nation. BJ Brown Jr. ranks eighth in total assists with 115 while sitting 13th in assists per game with a 5.5 mark.
West Alabama will return to Pruitt Hall this week for contests against Mississippi College and Delta State that's set for Thursday and Saturday.
