LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The NCAA announced the University of West Alabama Baseball team as the six-seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Sunday night.
The Tigers are officially the six-seed in the South Region after winning the GSC Regular Season Championship and putting together a 34-15 overall record through the regular season and GSC Tournament.Â
The West Florida Argonauts are the No. 1 seed in the South Region and will serve as one of the two host sites. The Tampa Spartans are No. 2 seed and will serve as the other host site.Â
To round out the south, Rollins is the three-seed followed by No. 4 Delta State, No. 5 Lee, No. 7 Trevecca Nazarene, and No. 8 Edward Waters.
West Alabama is slated to play No. 3 Rollins to begin the tournament on the campus of Tampa in Tampa, Florida on Thursday, May 14 at 4:00 p.m. CST.
