CASPER, Wyo. - Ivy Bone and Madison Murphy highlighted night one of performances at the CNFR for the University of West Alabama Rodeo team on Tuesday night in Casper, Wyoming.
Bone competed in the Breakaway Roping event. The sophomore recorded times of 3.4, 2.3, and 2.9 in Go Rounds one, two, and three, recording an average of 2.86. After her performance, Bone catapulted to No. 2 in the nation in the event and is slated to advance to the Championship Round later this week.
As for Murphy, she recorded one of the fastest times in the Barrel Racing event in Ford Wyoming Center history. UWA's star freshman registered a blazing time of 13.65 which is 0.7 seconds off from the Arena Record.
The 2026 College National Finals Rodeo will continue on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. CST. Sydney Poole (Barrel Racing) and Tanner Brown (Tie Down Roping) are slated to compete for the Tigers. You can watch all the action live on ESPN+.
