MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of West Alabama volleyball team continued its historic run Tuesday night, sweeping Christian Brothers University 3-0 inside Canale Arena and extending its streak to 37 consecutive sets won, the longest streak in Gulf South Conference history.

West Alabama earned the victory by scores of 25-14, 25-22 and 25-19, keeping its run of straight-set victories alive. 

Jazlyn Snow was named the Tigers' Player of the Match after turning in one of her most efficient offensive performances of the season. Snow finished with 10 kills on 20 attacks with just three errors, hitting a team-best .350 while adding a service ace. 

The Tigers controlled the opening set, using five service aces and holding Christian Brothers to a negative hitting percentage. UWA pulled away midway through the frame before closing out a 25-14 victory. West Alabama recorded 12 kills and hit .176 in the opening set, while CBU managed four kills with six errors. 

Christian Brothers provided its strongest challenge in the second set. After CBU jumped in front early, the Tigers battled back and eventually created separation. Snow was a major part of the response, recording several kills during the middle portion of the set as West Alabama moved ahead. Christian Brothers remained within striking distance late, but Ola Winiarek delivered the final kill to secure a 25-22 win and push the historic streak to 36 consecutive sets. 

UWA completed the sweep with a 25-19 victory in the third. Snow again played a key role down the stretch, recording kills to give West Alabama leads of 13-11, 21-17 and 24-18 before a CBU attack error ended the match. 

West Alabama finished the night with 41 kills, 37 assists, seven service aces and 65 digs, while hitting .171 as a team. The Tigers held Christian Brothers to 25 kills and a .059 hitting percentage. 

Along with Snow's 10 kills, Klára Bobánová recorded 10 kills and two service aces. Winiarek and Katerina Korre each added eight kills, while Duru Seber finished with four kills without an attack error and hit .308. Rachele Zanini directed the offense with 26 assists and also collected 14 digs, while Winiarek added 14 digs and Bailey Keef finished with 11. 

The victory moves West Alabama's consecutive-set winning streak to 37, extending its own program record while establishing the longest streak in Gulf South Conference history.
