Gibbs Joins Tiger Wranglers

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Roper and barrel racer Jadi Gibbs has signed to continue her collegiate rodeo career at the University of West Alabama, according to an announcement by Tiger Wrangler head coach Daniel Poole. Gibbs is transferring from East Mississippi Community College.

In addition to barrel racing, Gibbs competes in breakaway and team roping. She is a the 1D National Barrel Horse Association Champion and was fifth in the 2019 Ozark Region.

A native of Morton, Mississippi, Gibbs is a product of East Rankin (Miss.) Academy and won multiple all around championships at Little Britches rodeos. She is a three-time junior high state barrel racing champion.

The 2019 Professional Cowboy Association breakaway roping champion, she is currently 14^th in the 2020 standings. Gibbs was also the 2019 PCA finals average breakaway champion.

The 2017 Tristate rookie breakaway heeler champion also won the average at the Murray State Rodeo.
