WACO, Texas – Graduate defensive end Chris Terrell receives his third postseason honor after being named to the 2021 AFCA Division II Coaches' All-American First Team on Wednesday, Dec. 8.

The Pensacola, Fla. native was previously named to the 2021 All-Super Region Two Football Team and the 2021 All-GSC Football team for his effort on the field during the 2021 season.

In his first full season in the Tiger uniform, Terrell played in all 11 games to rack up 41 solo tackles, eight tack assists, 14.0 tackles for a loss of 50 yards, 7.0 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, nine quarterback hurries, one pass break up, and one blocked kick.

He was ranked among the top-100 nationally in sacks and solo tackles and ranked 35th in tackles for a loss during the regular season. In the GSC, Terrell was second in tackles for a loss and fourth in sacks.

UWA finished fourth in the league with a 7-4 overall and 4-3 in conference play in head coach Brett Gilliland's eighth season.
