UWA Tennis Rankings Update

TEMPE, Ariz. – West Alabama women's tennis is ranked No. 14 in the latest Division II Women's ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

Haina Franco is ranked No. 36 in the women's singles rankings and Almudena Sanz comes in ranked No. 61 in the same poll.

In the women's doubles poll, the Tigers have two teams that are ranked. Katia de la Garza and Franco are ranked No. 6. Heden Ly and Hardija Vidnere broke into the top 10 coming in at No. 9.

In the men's doubles poll, Lucas Hammond and Marcel Hornung are ranked No. 31.

West Alabama's women are 8-3 overall and will be playing at Louisiana Tech on Saturday. The men are 3-4 and will be hosting Southern Arkansas on Sunday.
