Norman and Woods Have Strong Showing at the Lee Last Chance

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Camrun Norman and James Woods represented the West Alabama men's track and field team on Saturday at the Lee Last Chance at the Ray Conn Sports Complex on the campus of Lee University. 
 
The Lee Last Chance is the final regular season meet for individuals to qualify for the 2022 NCAA Division II Championships.
 
Norman had a fourth-place finish in the men's high jump with a jump of 2.03-meters. Norman's jump was .07-meters shy of his personal best this season of 2.10-meters that he recorded at the Mike McMillan Twilight earlier this season. 
 
James Woods placed fifth in the men's long jump with a leap of 7.22-meters. Woods leap was shy of his personal best of 7.43-meters this season which he got at the Mike McMillan Twilight. 
 
The Tigers will now turn their attention to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships on May 25-27 in Allendale, Michigan. UWA will have Kaitlin Hill, Myflore Methelus, Annaya Chelcy, Kaylen Johnson, and Kyla Johnson have qualified on the women's side while Norman and Woods have qualified for the men's side.
