Allison Named Jack's Player of the Week

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - West Alabama men's basketball guard Justin Allison earned Jack's Men's Player of the Week based on his performance against Christian Brothers, West Florida, and Valdosta State last week. Allison averaged 14.7 points, four rebounds, and 3.3 assists over three games. The Pelham, Alabama native scored 10 points, dished out four assists, and had three rebounds in the 60-52 win over Christian Brothers on Jan. 2. 
 
Allison had 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals in the 60-52 victory over West Florida on Jan. 5. 
 
The senior guard led the Tigers with 18 points and two rebounds in the matchup against Valdosta State on Jan. 7.

Allison averages 12.3 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, and 2.9 assists per game.
 
UWA is 13-4 overall and 9-4 in GSC play. The Tigers are back at Pruitt Hall on Wednesday at 7 p.m. as they host Auburn Montgomery in GSC action.
