Tigers Collected 13 Top-10 Finishes at Belhaven Invitational

JACKSON, Miss. - West Alabama men's and women's track and field teams collected a total of 13 top 10 finishes at the Belhaven Invitational.

The Johnson sisters competed in the 100-meter dash. Kaylen Johnson stopped the clock at 12.85, placing fifth, with her sister Kyla Johnson coming in right behind her at 13.04, finishing eighth.

Mikeibra Morris finished sixth in the 200-meter dash, crossing the line at 26.83. Savannah Williams not far behind Morris finished ninth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.03 seconds.

Morris also competed in the 400-meter dash collecting a fifth-place finish, crossing the line at 59.81. Jailah Swain finished ninth in the 400-meter dash, with a time of 1:02.01.

On the men's side, two Tigers ran the 800-meter dash. Dave Hubert finished third, crossing the line with a time of 2:04.16. Jayson Lynch finished the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:05.76 finishing sixth.

Audrick Pyronneau finished second in the 1500-meter run, with a time of 4:05.30. Matthew Brown finished eighth, crossing the line at 4:15.97. Dancan Kibet finished tenth, with a time of 4:18.78.

Caleb Vann finished ninth in long jump. Vann covered 5.92 meters. Reed Robinson finished third in pole vault.
