LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama Football team's Elijah Guyton was named a D2CCA Second Team All-American on Wednesday.
Guyton garners his second consecutive All-American selection after a near perfect season in 2025 as the Tigers' place kicker.
This year, Guyton converted on 11 of his 12 Field Goal attempts, with his only miss being a blocked attempt. The Redshirt Junior went 5-5 from 20-29 yards, 5-6 from 30-39 yards, and 1-1 from 50+ yards, including a career long 51 yarder coming against Northeastern State in the season finale. On top of his Field Goals, the Kicker also connected on all 37 of his PAT attempts, giving him 70 total points which ranked third in the GSC amongst all players.Â
With the announcement of Guyton's Second Team All-American selection, the Redshirt Junior has now garnered two First Team All-GSC recognitions, two First Team All-Region selections, and a First Team and Second Team All-American selection over the past two seasons.
