West Alabama Releases 2025 Football Schedule

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The anticipation is over as the University of West Alabama Football Program released their 2025 Season Schedule on Tuesday.

With Scott Cochran being named the Head Coach in February, the excitement around the Football program is palpable and that will all come to a head in the season opener on August 30.

The Tigers are slated to begin their 2025 season with a Week Zero neutral site matchup against Fort Valley State on Saturday, August 30 in Birmingham, Alabama with a time to be announced soon. A week later, on September 6, UWA will travel to Murfreesboro, North Carolina for a 12:00 p.m. CST contest against Cowan.

West Alabama will officially open up their home schedule on Saturday, September 13 as they are set for a non-conference matchup against Charleston University at 1:00 p.m. The Tigers will continue their home slate into the next weekend with a battle against Barton College slated for 6:00 p.m. on September 20.

After a two-game homestand, West Alabama will get back on the road for a Week Four matchup against North Greenville on September 27. UWA will return home on the following weekend for a 6:00 p.m. matchup against Lincoln (CA).

After six straight weeks of games, West Alabama will get a bye week on Week Six before returning to action on October 18 with a home battle against West Florida looming. After their contest against the Argos, the Tigers will play host to Delta State on October 25 before heading to Valdosta, GA for a highly anticipated matchup against Valdosta State on November 1.

West Alabama will get their second bye week on November 8 before wrapping up their regular season on November 15 with a matchup against Northeastern State.
