LIVINGSTON, Ala. - For the fourth consecutive week, the University of West Alabama Football team is well represented in the GSC Weekly Awards as Spencer Arceneaux and Michael Dujon took home recognitions on Monday.
Arceneaux was named the GSC Offensive Player of the Week for the third consecutive time while Dujon took home Freshman of the Week honors for the first time in his career.
In Saturday's 52-14 win over Barton College, Arceneaux registered 370 total yards and six total touchdowns. The Quarterback threw for 257 yards and four touchdowns while running for a career-high 113 yards along with two touchdowns. After his career day, Arceneaux is now responsible for 86 points through four games, putting him fourth in the country in that category. While scoring 14 total touchdowns this season, the senior has only turned the ball over once.
As for Dujon, he broke onto the scene this past weekend against the Bulldogs. The freshman Running Back recorded a team-high 95 rushing yards on 14 carries, averaging 6.8 yards per carry. With injuries to Brayden Jenkins and Tyler Smith, Dujon has played his way into the Running Back rotation even when Jenkins and Smith return from injury.
Arceneaux, Dujon, and the Tigers will be on the road this upcoming weekend as they're set for an 11:00 a.m. CST matchup against North Greenville.
