LIVINGSTON, Ala. - After another dominant win this past weekend, the University of West Alabama Football team remains ranked in all three of the Media Top-25 polls.
West Alabama remained at No. 13 and No. 9 in the AFCA Coaches and FloCollege Polls while moving up one spot to No. 17 in the D2Football.com top-25.
UWA is coming off a 52-14 win over Barton College, moving the Tigers to 4-0 on the year. Led by Spencer Arceneaux, West Alabama is 15th in the country in rushing yards per game with 229.5. Arceneaux currently leads the GSC and sits 18th in the country in rushing with 335 yards while ranking seventh in the country in rushing touchdowns with six through four games. Along with that, the senior is responsible for 86 of the Tigers' points this season which ranks fourth in the country.
Defensively, West Alabama's front seven has been strong as the Tigers averaged 3.0 sacks per game, putting them 18th in the nation. On the other side of the line of scrimmage, UWA's Offensive Line is allowing .75 sacks per game which ranks 23rd in Division II.
West Alabama will take their ranking and undefeated record on the road this weekend for an 11:00 a.m. CST test against North Greenville.Â
