Hudson Walburn (.333 AVG) and Aaron Wallace (.281 AVG) have also provided consistent production, while Peyton Moss has made the most of limited opportunities, hitting .500 with a 1.636 OPS.
On the mound, the Tigers have been equally impressive, posting a 2.33 team ERA and holding opponents to a .197 batting average. UWA pitchers have struck out 75 batters in 85 innings while allowing just 22 earned runs.
Blake Westry owns a 0.71 ERA in 12.2 innings, while Thomas Kerby carries a 1.32 ERA with a team-best 2-0 record. Baker Green (1.64 ERA) and Colin Woodham (2.84 ERA) have provided steady starts, and the bullpen has been dominant. Cade Miller has recorded two saves without allowing a run, Camden Lyke has a save and a 0.00 ERA, and Tyler Pierce has posted a 1.93 ERA with nine strikeouts in 4.2 innings.
As a staff, West Alabama has combined for five saves and limited opponents to just 31 total runs, underscoring the balance between an explosive offense and a deep, effective pitching corps.
With momentum building and history already made, the Tigers will look to continue their unbeaten run and strengthen their position near the top of the South Region rankings as conference play continues.
