Tigers Drop Home Match Up Against Chargers

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – The University of West Alabama volleyball team (6-5, 2-2 GSC) battled hard at home in Pruitt Hall but fell in three sets to UAH (10-3, 2-2 GSC), 25-20, 25-23, 25-20, on Tuesday evening.

The Tigers showed resilience throughout, with Katerina Korre and Jazlyn Snow sparking early rallies and Klára Bobánová and Gracie Pierscinski delivering key kills to keep the sets close. Jana Petkovic's steady setting helped drive the offense, while Bailey Keef and Cadence Goeden added timely points from the service line and front row. UWA pushed UAH in the second set and held an early lead in the third, but the Chargers closed each frame with late points to secure the win.

West Alabama will hit the road this weekend, traveling to Nashville, Tenn. to face Trevecca Nazarene on Friday at Trojan Field House, followed by a trip to Cleveland, Tenn.. to face Lee University at Paul Dana Walker Arena.
